As Chairman, CEO, and founder, Mr. Cavallaro serves as the dynamic figurehead responsible for overseeing MJC Partners, LLC family of companies, including the investment bank, wealth management arm, as well as MJC Sports & Entertainment, a creative branding and marketing Company.
As the leader of MJC Partners, LLC, Mr. Cavallaro has a proven insight into the elements that breed success within a Company that offers such a diverse set of services. Mr. Cavallaro specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and capital advisory and has most recently strategically incorporated a branding & marketing company within the MJCP family of companies. With the backbone of MJC Partners being investment banking, Mr. Cavallaro has extensive proven success in structuring, negotiating and executing numerous transactions over his 10+ years in the business, which will seamlessly translate into the success of MJC Sports & Entertainment. He has also been involved in several capital raises with a focus on the issuance of equity through private placements of debt and equity instruments.
A natural born entrepreneur, Mr. Cavallaro whole heartedly believes that a positive understanding of our clients’ needs, create relationships that lead to loyalty and support, a theme that has been demonstrated in MJC Partners track record since its founding in2014. MJC Partners currently ranks 4thin M&A deals done in the Western U.S. and is tied for 1st in the number of private placements done in the Western U.S. Mr. Cavallaro has long benefitted from a diverse skill set and a genuine interest in people which has naturally established an extensive network of friendships and business partnerships throughout his rewarding career.
Carlton Jenkins is President of the Financial Services division of MJC partners. In his capacity as President, he provides oversight and ongoing strategic direction of a team of professionals focused on providing the highest level of service, best in class execution and industry knowledge to the firm’s financial services clients. Mr. Jenkins also provides advisory support to MJC Sports and Entertainment, a fast-growing branding and marketing unit within the MJC family of companies.
Mr. Jenkins is as career financial services executive, recognized locally and nationally for his commitment to and successful history of success in looking creatively at ways to deploy capital, banking and financial services products and services into Emerging Markets and Underserved Communities, Mr. Jenkins has been involved as a Founder orCo-Founder in 2 Minority Owned Banks, while also serving as Chairman, President and CEO of one of the most successful Minority Owned banks in the Country. He has helped raise and deploy Institutional Capital into Urban Markets as a Partner with one of the country’s most successful Private Equity Firms and has also provided diversity and urban market related advice and counsel to a number of Commercial Banks, Fortune 500 Companies and a number of GSE’s. His leadership as a board member and advisor has also has also been provided at the highest level to a number of both Corporate and Non-Profit organizations focused on issues such as entrepreneurship, job creation, capital formation, community economic development, and social services.

Investment Banking Team
Mr. Kuykendall is Vice President at MJC Partners serving in a capacity of advising clients on mergers & acquisitions and capital raising, determining enterprise valuations, and originating new deals. Mr. Kuykendall brings with him over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining MJC Partners, Mr. Kuykendall served as an Associate Director with Sheshunoff & Co. Investment Banking advising community banks throughout the United States on M&A transactions, providing bank stock valuations, and assisting boards with strategic planning sessions. Prior to that role, Mr. Kuykendall served as an equity research analyst for Century Management, an asset management firm with $2.2 billion in assets under management. Over the course of his career, Mr. Kuykendall also provided retail investment services to individual, corporate, and not-for-profit clients during his tenures at T. Rowe Price and Mutual of America. Mr. Kuykendall graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Certificate in Computer Information Systems. Mr. Kuykendall is licensed as a registered representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and holds the following licenses: Series 62 and 63.
Mr. Gutterman is a Senior Associate at MJC Partners and is responsible for executing M&A, capital raising and valuation analysis for the firm. Prior to joining MJC Partners in 2015, Mr. Gutterman was an Associate with Sterne Agee’s Financial Institutions Investment Banking group in Newport Beach. Prior to that role, Mr. Gutterman was an Associate at Arbor Advisors in Palo Alto, executing M&A and private placements for private technology companies. Previously, Mr. Gutterman spent four years at JP Morgan Securities in the Private Client Services division. Originally from the Bay Area, Mr. Gutterman holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. Mr. Gutterman is licensed as a registered representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and holds the following licenses: Series 7, 63, 66, and 79.
Mr. Wix is a Senior Analyst at MJC Partners and is responsible for M&A, capital raising and valuation analysis for the firm. Originally from Southern California, Mr. Wix holds a Bachelor of Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management. Mr. Wix has passed the CFA level 1 exam.
Mr. Catalano is an Analyst at MJC Partners and is responsible for M&A, capital raising and valuation analysis for the firm. Mr. Catalano began his career in banking as an Analyst reporting to the executive group of United Bankshares, Inc. in Washington, D.C. During his time with United Bankshares, Inc., Mr. Catalano was responsible for developing and implementing the process around the bank’s first time Dodd Frank Act stress testing submission and providing quantitative support to the executive group in the areas of asset/liability and interest rate risk management, liquidity management, and financial planning and analysis. Prior to that role, Mr. Catalano worked as a graduate assistant where he developed and maintained forecasting models under the Directors of Budgeting and Institutional Research at West Virginia University. Mr. Catalano graduated from West Virginia University with an M.S. Finance degree and has passed all three levels of the CFA exam.
Perry Weinstein is an Analyst at MJC Partners and is responsible for M&A, capital raising and valuation analysis for the firm. Prior to joining MJC partners, Mr. Weinstein was a Valuation Associate at BDO USA and a Research Analyst at Bel Air Capital Advisors. While studying Finance at the University of Southern California, Mr. Weinstein completed two internships, one at Sandler O’Neill and the other at Cappello Global. Mr. Weinstein is licensed as a registered representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and holds a series 7 license.
Ms. Moyer is the Marketing Director at MJC Partners and is responsible for managing the firm’s marketing, communication, and branding infrastructures. Prior to joining MJC Partners in 2015, Ms. Moyer freelanced for over 25 private clients including Baggy Boy Films, The Conrad Hilton Foundation and Alliance Bernstein. Prior to moving to Los Angeles in 2012, Ms. Moyer spent 3 years as a Senior Associate at State Street Corporation in Boston, MA, specializing in internal and external communications and business process improvement. Prior to that role, Ms. Moyer was the Marketing Manager at Otis & Ahearn Real Estate and was responsible for creating local marketing & branding support materials for prospective buyers, resulting in the sale of several properties ranging up to $14M. Previous to that role, Ms. Moyer was the Marketing Manager at United Way of Massachusetts Bay and played an integral role in the launch of the national ͞Live United͟ campaign as well as collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop original content and marketing plans. Originally from the Boston area, Ms. Moyer graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, CT with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Theater & Dance.
Ms. Harris is the Marketing Manager and has been with the firm since 2017. Alongside the Marketing Director, Ms. Harris is responsible for events and the firm’s external marketing communications. Prior to this position, Ms. Harris worked in the Public Relations department for Molina Healthcare, a low-income healthcare provider located in Long Beach, California. Ms. Harris received both her BA in Communications and her MA in Marketing from Azusa Pacific University.
Ms. Chan is the Director of Operations and has over 17 years of operations management experience, 10 of which are in the investment banking industry and in the private equity arena. Ms. Chan has worked for established companies, such as The Yucaipa Companies, LLC, BioSource International Inc., Rock & Republic Enterprises, Inc., and West Model & Talent Convention. She is responsible for streamlining and increasing the efficiency of the office management process. She serves to be an effective agent for the betterment of an organization’s culture in support of a company’s overall strategic goals. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ms. Chan has a Bachelor of Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
